Quickstrike CONTEST!

So you might be thinking, "What is a 'quickstrike' contest?" Well a quickstrike contest is a contest that happens without much, or any, warning. I might hint about it in blog posts, orders, e-mails... anywhere! We love contests here at Random Objects! I have been hinting about this contest for a while, and I have been getting e-mails asking about when it was coming. Well, the wait is over... IT'S CONTEST TIME!

The premise of the contest is simple: try to correctly identify all nine fonts in the "Alphabet" design. Here is a detailed pic of the design...

If you are going to be the president of the United States of America, you might as well roll in style. Obama's vehicle is like a limo on steroids. It has it's own oxygen supply and get ready... bottles of the presidents blood in case he needs an emergency transfusion! WHAT? I bet your tricked out Honda doesn't have that.

Nike is at it again!

Sneakers have been a HUGE part of my life ever since I was little. Nike was my favorite brand because of their futuristic designs and marketing campaigns. They were such an innovative company in the 90's, but they seemed to have lost their creative spirit as of recent. But Nike seems to be getting back to thinking out of the box.

These are their newest creation, the City Knife II. These shoes are simply an awe inspiring piece of wearable architectural design. These sneakers fold completely flat! A removable molded insole is placed into the shoes to cushion the foot. These will be great when traveling abroad!

David After the Dentist

Once in a while I come across a video that makes me nearly go into convulsions laughing. This was one of those videos! Although it made me laugh hysterically, I noticed that my right wisdom tooth is starting to hurt. Maybe I have a trip to the dentist coming myself? Kind of ironic I guess.

Typography with a Twist

I want to start off the New Year with an amazing piece of art. The way the artist took an iconic NY image and added a totally different spin to the typography.... Brilliant! How could I not like this, I live in NY! I only wish I could own this amazing piece.
